The 21st Annual Ruskin Seafood Festival will be held on Saturday, November 7 2009 10 am to 5 pm & Sunday, November 8 10 am to 4 pm. The festival is being held at E. G. Simmons Park located at 2401 19th Avenue NW, Ruskin. The park is on 260 acres along Tampa Bay and provides a scenic and relaxing environment for the festival. The park is a natural wildlife, bird and botanical sanctuary.

Vendors will be serving seafood and other specialties. There will be a juried art show with some of our own local artists. The commercial area will showcase local businesses.

Ruskin Seafood Festival Promises Fun for the Whole Family

The festival is being held at E. G. Simmons Park located at 2401 19th Avenue NW, Ruskin. The park is on 260 acres along Tampa Bay and provides a scenic and relaxing environment for the festival. The park is a natural wildlife, bird and botanical sanctuary.

Vendors will be serving seafood and other specialties. The commercial area will showcase local businesses. The Children’s Court features activities for the children with games, inflatables and entertainment on stage. Live entertainment will be on the main stage and in the children’s area throughout the weekend. There will also be educational exhibits on the area’s unique environment and wildlife. A boat show will feature boats, equipment and accessories for all your boating needs. If you are not sure what size boat you want, this is the place to come look. All sizes will be there.

The Ruskin Seafood Festival is an alcohol free, family friendly, community event that promotes appreciation of the unique environment in the area. Funds raised support the Chamber of Commerce and its economic and community development programs.

There is free shuttle service to the festival entrance. Parking is free.
